My Mandy Madison thesis project focused on developing a full concert tour branding for the artist Mandy Madison.
The process began with an in-depth research phase, where I gathered insights into Mandy’s persona, her target audience, and industry trends in pop music marketing. This initial research allowed me to define the core values and emotions the brand should convey: dynamic energy, playfulness, and a touch of sophistication.
From there, I created a range of concept sketches that explored different visual directions. I experimented with a variety of logo designs, typography styles, and color palettes to find combinations that felt both unique and authentic to Mandy's brand. One of my key challenges was balancing youthful energy with a refined, approachable style, so I produced three main concepts. Each concept reflected a different aspect of Mandy’s brand identity—from bold and edgy to minimalist and polished.
Through design thinking and audience testing, I narrowed down the options and refined the design. I chose an abstract, neon-inspired theme with vibrant colors and clean typography, which resonated best with Mandy’s target demographic of young pop music fans. I applied this theme consistently across digital and physical platforms, including social media assets, concert posters, merchandise, and promotional materials.
The final deliverables for the project included a cohesive set of brand assets ready for launch across various platforms. This project not only helped me hone my branding and design skills but also allowed me to develop a strategic approach to creating a memorable and impactful concert tour experience.
